Full grooming with a haircut runs $65-$95 for small dogs and $95-$150+ for large or matted dogs. Mobile grooming services charge a premium of $15-$30 above salon prices for the convenience of coming to your home.

A good groomer will ask about your dog's temperament, health issues, and the cut you want. The first visit usually takes longer — about 2-3 hours — as the groomer assesses your dog's coat condition and comfort level.
